Poor Richard got a shock yesterday. Evidently he has a permanent vanity search set up with Google Alerts, because he discovered that a new and improved version of his blog has been launched.

Improved, because it allows comments. Instead of simply having Richard preaching to the people who pay his wages, the new site allows them to answer back. This must be very unsettling to somebody who’s so far enjoyed his career relatively insulated from the unpleasantness of people having contrary opinions.

I’m sure Margot Wallstrom, the EU’s champion of communications, is looking on approvingly.

I have no idea who set it up, but I congratulate them.
